GP referral is NOT required

How Liquid Gold works

Liquid Gold therapy is a non-surgical treatment designed to rejuvenate the face and skin by using growth factors naturally found in blood platelets.

Cleanse and numb

We cleanse the treatment area and apply a topical numbing cream for comfort.

Draw blood

A small sample of blood is drawn from your arm.

Centrifuge

The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma from other components.

Inject

Using a fine needle, the liquid gold is injected into targeted areas. Sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes.

After treatment

  • Skin may look red, like mild sunburn, for about 1-3 days.
  • Some swelling or bruising is possible.
  • Use ice packs as needed for discomfort.
  • Refrain from itching or scratching treated areas.

Recovery care

  • Avoid sun exposure for three weeks.
  • Apply SPF 30 or 50 sunscreen daily.
  • Do not pick at or exfoliate your skin for 3-5 days.
  • Avoid skincare products containing Glycolic or Salicylic acid during recovery.
Pricing: PRP/PRF Injections: $699. PRP injection costs in Australia vary widely due to systems used, practitioner experience, clinical settings and methods employed.
