Squamous Cell Cancer is more serious, as it can spread to the lymph glands. SCCs often arise from sunspots and are usually scaly and may be tender.
Melanoma is the most serious type because it can spread via the blood stream throughout the body. It can arise anywhere on the body and can be raised or flat, fast or slow growing, and rarely pink in colour.
